About the SSI React Right Course
Emergencies happen — and every diver has the responsibility to know how to respond. The SSI React Right course combines first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), automated external defibrillator (AED) use and emergency oxygen administration into a comprehensive 8–12 hour programme at ALPHAMARIN Dive Center Constanța.
What you will learn
Primary and secondary victim assessment — recognising emergency situations
Correct cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults and children
Automated external defibrillator (AED) use
Emergency oxygen administration for diving accidents
First aid techniques for injuries, drowning, shock and medical emergencies
Programme structure
6 academic sessions — complete theory via the SSI digital platform
Practical scenarios — emergency simulations with CPR mannequin and oxygen equipment
Participation requirements
No diving prerequisites — open to everyone
Minimum age: 12 years
The SSI React Right certification is valid for 2 years and is a mandatory prerequisite for the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue course. Recommended for all active divers, regardless of level.
