SSI Perfect Buoyancy — Perfect Control, Longer Dives

Perfect buoyancy is the skill that transforms every dive — you use less air, move more gracefully, protect the reef and see more. The SSI Perfect Buoyancy specialty is the fastest way to radically improve your technique, in 5–10 hours of intensive training with SSI certified instructors at ALPHAMARIN Dive Center Constanța, Black Sea.

What you will learn

• Advanced body positioning for relaxed and efficient diving

• Perfect hover technique — stationary suspension at any depth

• Reducing air consumption through optimised buoyancy

• Moving around reefs and formations without touching them

• Buoyancy techniques for underwater photography and videography

Programme structure

1. 4 academic sessions — theory and advanced buoyancy principles

2. 2 pool training sessions — practising positioning and hover techniques

3. Open water training — applying perfect buoyancy in the Black Sea, to 30m depth

Participation requirements

• SSI Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent)

• Minimum age: 10 years

The SSI Perfect Buoyancy specialty counts towards your SSI Advanced Open Water Diver and Master Diver ratings. Recommended for all divers who want to make a rapid qualitative leap in their technique — regardless of experience level.
