SSI Divemaster — The Peak Professional Title in Recreational Diving

The SSI Divemaster title is the highest professional level in recreational diving and represents the pinnacle of SSI training before becoming an instructor. As a Divemaster, you are recognised as an expert and ambassador of the underwater world, with the authority to guide certified divers, assist instructors and teach SSI ecology programmes, at ALPHAMARIN Dive Center Constanța.

What you will gain

• Experience of a minimum 60 professional dives in the Black Sea

Programme structure

1. 10 academic sessions — advanced leadership and SSI programme instruction

2. 4 pool training sessions — instructor-level technical demonstrations

3. Minimum 60 professional dives — complete practice in the Black Sea, to 40m depth

Participation requirements

• SSI Dive Guide title + SSI Science of Diving specialty

• Minimum 60 logged dives with at least 40 hours total dive time

• SSI Deep Diving, Navigation and Night Diving certifications OR 5+ verified dives in each + Diver Stress & Rescue

• Minimum age: 18 years
