About the SSI Boat Diving Course
Some of the most spectacular dive sites in the Black Sea — wrecks, fish shoals, rocky formations — are only accessible by boat. The SSI Boat Diving specialty gives you the techniques and confidence to dive safely from any type of vessel, from rigid RIBs to liveaboards, with ALPHAMARIN Dive Center Constanța.
What you will learn
Entry and exit procedures from various boat types (RIB, liveaboard, sailing yacht)
Equipment organisation and securing on deck
Navigation and offshore dive briefings
Underwater and surface orientation relative to the boat
Safety protocols and communication with the boat crew
Programme structure
5 academic sessions — complete theory via the SSI digital platform
2 boat dives — applying techniques in the Black Sea, to 30m depth
Participation requirements
SSI Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent)
Minimum age: 10 years
The SSI Boat Diving specialty counts towards Advanced Open Water Diver and Master Diver ratings and gives you access to the best offshore sites in the Black Sea.
